**Stable** is released and supported. **Beta** is usable but still completing compatibility or operational gates. **Preview** is not a stable public contract. **Deprecated** names its replacement and removal timing when known.

Harness support is separate. **Verified** requires a released version, dated evidence, and production-like read/write smoke. **Provisional** has official configuration evidence but incomplete Sift verification or a limitation. **Generic** is standards guidance, not a client compatibility claim.

Pin CLI and SDK artifacts in automation. Generated references state their artifact and source revision. See the [public CLI changelog](https://github.com/goodnight000/sift-cli/releases); operational incidents are routed through [support](/platform/support/) until Sift publishes a public status page.
