Start with the boundary
Section titled “Start with the boundary”The Memory SDK is an application runtime. Hosted MCP and the CLI connect an agent or operator to a Sift workspace. They do not share credentials or imply the same permissions.
The CLI is Stable. Hosted MCP is Beta while live client verification is completed. The Memory SDK remains Preview and noindex until a pinned runnable SDK/runtime artifact passes conformance.
